TUM Think Tank is an emerging institution exploring intersections of technology and society through collaborative, interdisciplinary formats. Its dynamic visual identity is built around a custom alphabet and a flexible logo system, in which two interlocking lines reconfigure to represent shifting fields of inquiry. The design served as a kick-off identity for the think tank’s startup phase – providing adaptable tools while the organisation was still forming –before a later, more extensive branding process was initiated as the institution matured.
